SUPPORT FOR NEURODIVERGENT TEENS

Helping teens build independence, confidence, and authentic communication — without pressure to mask.

Adolescence can feel especially overwhelming for neurodivergent teens.

Social expectations increase. Academic demands grow. Executive functioning challenges become more visible.

Many teens feel:

• Socially exhausted or misunderstood
• Overwhelmed by organization and follow-through
• Frustrated by constant comparison
• Pressured to “act more typical”
• Unsure how to advocate for themselves

Therapy is not about changing who your teen is. It’s about helping them understand their brain, build practical tools, and develop confidence in how they move through the world.

Our Approach

We believe growth happens through understanding — not pressure.

Therapy is collaborative and strengths-based. We help teens understand how their brain works, develop practical strategies, and apply skills in real-life settings.

The goal isn’t compliance. It’s sustainable confidence and independence.

What Therapy Can Look Like

Support is tailored to your teen’s needs and readiness.

Individual Sessions: One-on-one therapy focused on personalized goals, executive functioning strategies, and communication growth. Sessions may be teen-only or include family members when helpful. Parent collaboration is welcomed and encouraged. Through family consultation, we work together to create consistent, supportive systems at home.

Group Sessions (when appropriate): Small, supportive groups that allow teens to practice social communication, build confidence, and apply skills in real-time.

Community-Based Sessions (when appropriate): Sessions held in real-world settings — such as school, work, or community spaces — where teens can practice skills in the environments where they matter most. This approach supports confidence, independence, and meaningful application beyond the therapy room.
